The “Bet on a Woman” project is a dynamic international initiative dedicated to empowering young women, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by equipping them with entrepreneurial skills and fostering their leadership potential. This project, conducted in partnership with organizations from Poland, Portugal, Turkey, and Spain, aims to address gender inequality and create pathways for young women to participate actively in both social and professional spheres.
Project Objectives
The main goal of the “Bet on a Woman” project is to support young women in overcoming the daily barriers they face and to provide them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to become leaders and entrepreneurs. We believe that by investing in young women, we can help them realize their potential and inspire them to contribute to their communities.

Key Activities
The project includes several phases designed to understand the needs of young women, provide training, and foster community engagement:
Needs Assessment
Through online interviews with young women from the partner countries, we gathered insights into the educational needs and challenges they face. This research led to the creation of a guidebook titled “Guidelines for Outreach and Training of Young Women from Disadvantaged Groups,” which includes exercises and resources tailored to these needs.
Training for Youth Workers
Training sessions were held for youth workers from each partner organization to enhance their skills in supporting young women. These sessions focused on innovative teaching methods and the use of digital tools in informal and peer education, helping youth workers to empower young women more effectively.
Community Workshops
Local workshops were organized, engaging over 100 participants from each partner country. These workshops provided practical experience in applying the acquired skills, focusing on topics like entrepreneurship and leadership.
Webinars
A series of webinars connected youth workers across partner countries, creating a platform to share best practices and collaborative approaches for working with young women.
As part of our outreach efforts, we are organizing ME1, a community event where the “Entrepreneurship and Leadership Training Toolkit” will be tested with 30 young women from each partner country. This event will allow participants to gain firsthand experience in entrepreneurial skills while fostering community engagement and support.
Final Conference
The project will conclude with a conference attended by over 100 young women from each partner country. During this event, leadership and entrepreneurship topics will be explored in depth, and workshops will help participants develop essential skills for their professional journeys.
